Blinkit Introduces 10-Minute Ambulance Service in Gurugram
Blinkit, widely recognized for its instant delivery services, has now ventured into emergency healthcare with the launch of a 10-minute ambulance service. Gurugram is the first city to benefit from this innovative initiative, which aims to address the critical issue of delayed medical assistance during emergencies.
Blinkit's Vision for Accessible Emergency Care
Albinder Dhindsa, CEO of Blinkit, shared the news on social media, emphasizing the company’s commitment to creating swift and reliable healthcare solutions. “We are addressing a pressing issue in our cities by introducing quick ambulance services. Starting with five ambulances in Gurugram, we’re planning a phased expansion to other regions,” Dhindsa wrote in his post on X.
The service enables users to book ambulances directly through the Blinkit app, offering quick access to emergency care in critical situations. Initially focusing on Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances, Blinkit plans to expand its fleet and services across major cities in the near future.
